Parts Needed to Add 7-Way to 1996 Ford F-250
Question:
1996 F250 PSD XLT LONG BED, 4X4, A/T. Had a lot of work done on this vehicle. Vehicle originally was tow-ready, with a 7-blade flapped connector on rear bumper. During work, the connector from the two plugs on the drivers side, containing 4 and 3 pins respectively, to the back of the 7-blade connector was apparently tossed out. Would like to reinstall a 7-blade on the new bumper. What do you sell that would help out here, if anything? Thanks for your attention.

We can get you outfitted with new wiring for your 1996 Ford F-250 (nice looking truck by the way!) so you can have a 7-way equipped.
To replace your 4-way and also add a 7-way you will need two parts: the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118316 along with the Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole # 37185. If you already have a working 4-way you will only need the adapter.
I have added a link to a help article on wiring a Ford truck which I believe will be useful for you. If you don't have one, you will need a circuit tester, with the Cordless Circuit Tester # PTW2979 being the easiest to use.
