Can 35 Amp Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center Supply AC Power from Batteries
Question:
Item # PD 4135K inverter Does this item allow ac power to a dedicated outlet when the RV is not hook up to a power source or generator , if not do you offer a inverter like this that has the option for this application, otherwise, are my choices to buy another inverter that has say 2000 watts and hook up to the batter leads and use as a second inverter....

The 35 Amp Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger # PD4135K is used to distribute power from an AC power source to both AC and DC accessories. If you are needing to use DC power for AC accessories then you need an inverter like the basic 2000 Watt Inverter part # 34278156 or the Inverter/Charger/Transfer Switch 2000 Watt part # 34280055 instead.
The first (basic) inverter allows you to power AC products with DC power like from your battery while the second inverter option includes a transfer switch which means that it will provide the AC power until you plug into shore power again, then it will stop draining power from your batteries. Plus when you plug into shore power this will charge your batteries.
You do also have the option to add a remote controller, part # 34279999, if you'd like a little more control and some feedback on how these systems are performing.
