Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2020 Toyota RAV4
Question:
I just bought a new 2020 Toyota RAV4 and was curious what hitch you would recommend for me.

We have several hitches available for your Toyota RAV4 but my pick is the Curt. It is part # C13146. This hitch has the nicest appearance when installed than the comparable etrailer # e23ZR. Curt uses a better looking reinforcement collar at the end of the receiver tube than the etrailer does.
Both of the hitches have an identical installation process and offer similar weight ratings that far exceed the weight limits of your RAV4 set by your manufacturer. They are very effective for recreational use like bike racks and cargo carriers and are great for towing as well. Both are also rated for use with a weight distribution set up if that is a need you have. If you are going to be towing trailer I would recommend using Curt T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56434 this is a custom fit vehicle wiring harness for the RAV-4 that proves to be extremely reliable and doesn't require any splicing or cutting of your factory wiring.
I've provided some links for you to see both hitches I've mentioned and also installation videos that we have done here at Etrailer. These should help to both see the difference and also help you along the way to getting your installation done.
I'm also going to provide a link couple of my favorite accessories with videos we've done if you don't already have what you need to get started taking advantage of your new hitch.
