Is it Important to Use all of the Installation Bolts When Installing a Curt Hitch
Question:
I just installed the curt hitch I ordered from Etrailer.com and everything went as expected except I could not get the small bolts one on each side to thread in with the hitch installed. The other large bolts 3 on each side went in without issue. Is three bolts on each side enough for this hitch? Thanks!

It is VERY important that you use all of the included installation hardware when you install the Curt Hitch # 13575 on your vehicle.
If the bolts are not wanting to line up I would recommend you loosen all of the installation bolts so that the hitch can be moved around and positioned so that the bolts line up and you can thread the smaller bolts in as well. Once you have all of the bolts started you can begin to tighten them all down to the specified torque rating in the installation instructions that I attached.
I attached a couple FAQs on installing hitches for you to check out also.
