Hitch Solution for 1999 Ford F-250 with Deep Drop Bumper
Question:
Is the C15511 the correct bumper for this application? The 15316 is what is called for but it appears that it is too much at either 9 or 10 depending on which answer I read. It is 7-3/8inch from bottom of frame to bottom of bumper. Pics attached. Early build 1999 F250

The Curt hitch you mentioned is more of a multi fit hitch and would not be the best choice for your truck, but we do have a couple options. The closest fitting, but still probably not close enough would be the # 37133 which has it's hitch opening 7-1/4 inches down below the frame mounting surface. This isn't quite enough though as you'd need 1/8 of an inch more.
The # C15316 does drop a bit more than what you'd need but it's going to be best fitting option. Other choice you have would be to contact the manufacturer of the bumper to see if they have a hitch they recommend. Our hitch manufacturers don't have ability to test fit every aftermarket hitch unfortunately.
