Torque Needed to Tighten Nuts of 3 inch Trailer Axle
Question:
Torque specifications. Hello I replaced the U bolts that hold down the leaf springs my axles are 3 inches I would like to know the torque specification

The torque needed to tighten the U-bolts of a trailer's 3 inch axle like the # APUBR-8 is 70 ft lbs.
If you need a torque wrench we have # ALL944001 good for 10 to 150 foot pounds and it has both a 3/8 inch drive and 1/2 inch drive.
