Trailer Hitch and Wiring Recommendation for 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan

Which trailer hitch do you guys recommend for my 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan? My plan is to tow my camper trailer so I need a 4 way as well for wiring.

The best trailer hitch option we have for your 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan is the Curt Class III hitch part # C13381 as it has the best towing capacities, installs easily, and has only the hitch opening visible below the rear bumper so it's the most concealed. I attached an install video for this as well as a picture of it installed too.

For trailer wiring you'd then want the easy to install and very reliable 4-way part # C56403. This installs by plugging in line with the taillight connectors and does not require any splicing.

Since you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
