Will MaxxAir Mini Deluxe Vent Fan Offer Quieter Operation Than Ventline Fan
Question:
I have installed the 6-1/4inch Ventline roof vent on a 2015 Nissan NV200. I am thinking of replacing it with the Maxxair MA000-03851 which would move more air. One complaint regarding the Ventline is the high sound level. Is the Maxxair quieter? Would the MA000-04401 with a 10inch fan be a quieter choice?

We have found that the MaxxAir vent fan assemblies tend to be just a tad bit quieter than the Ventline alternatives, although in all honestly they're very similar. I wasn't able to track down a specific decibel level for the MaxxAir Mini Deluxe # MA00-03851 that you're considering, but based on customer reviews I think it is going to be quieter than your existing Ventline # VP-543SP.
Multiple customers have written back about the the MaxxAir Mini Deluxe models praising its quiet performance, so it's something quite noticeable right off the bat. Like what you have experienced though, I have seen the opposite when it comes to the smaller Ventline unit.
The MaxxAir Mini Deluxe # VP-543SP will certainly provide better airflow, at it features double the CFM at 200 compared to 100 on your Ventline unit. The MaxxAir MaxxFan # MA00-04401M that you also referenced would push more air but would also likely be louder as a result, so if quiet operation is a top priority I recommend going with the Mini Deluxe.
Just keep in mind that this larger vent requires a 14" x 14" opening for installation, so you may need to make some modifications to your current setup. I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
