Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2020 Ford Explorer That Allows Use of Hands Free Liftgate
Question:
I'm looking to put a trailer hitch receiver on 2020 ford explorer and wanted to one so that I can still use the hands free liftgate feature to open up the tail gate? I find that to be real useful for me and I'd like to keep it thanks.

The trailer hitch receiver that will work with your 2020 Ford Explorer, and will let you keep on using your hands free liftgate sensor is the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e29YR. What you may need to do is simply kick your foot to one side of the receiver portion of the hitch as opposed to directly in the center, but the feature will absolutely still work.
Along with the hitch, if you plan on towing with your 2020 Ford Explorer, you'll need a wiring harness, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118599, which will allow you to power your trailer's lights. I have added links to the written instructions of the hitch and harness for you to check out as well.
