Recommended American Flag Hitch Cover that is Easy to Install

Question:

Im looking for an American Flag hitch cover to fit my 2inch hitch which is easy to install. I will never use the hitch, it just came with the vehicle. I need a cover which is easy to install as I am not particularly handy and cant physically get down on the ground for too long a time. Is this the cover for me or would one of the others be easier to install. Price isnt a factor in choosing a hitch cover, just ease of installation and, I guess, durability. Thanx.

From a durability standpoint, the cover you have mentioned will serve you well. The Flag logo is vinyl coated which protects the decal from water, chemicals, and UV rays. It is outlined in chrome-plated ABS plastic. The Polished stainless steel bases gives a mirror-like shine.

Since hitch covers are frequently stolen, I would also recommend a locking hitch pin. We offer a stainless steel model, part # e98882 that should provide a nice level of corrosion resistance for you. The install could not be any easier. Place the cover in your 2 inch receiver opening, line up the receiver hitch pin hole to the hole in the base of the hitch cover, and install the lock. If you decide to purchase the lock, be sure to write down the key number. If the key number is known, we can obtain replacement keys from etrailer.com if you ever need them, using that number.
