Saris Platform Bike Rack for Carrying Hybrid Giant Bikes with Water Bottle Holders
Question:
I am having a tough time making a choice between the 2 racks mentioned in the subject line. Our Bikes are Giant Hybrid 1man and 1 Ladies with water bottle holders. My SUV is a 2015 Ford Edge SEL with a 2inch factory installed receiver. I have been reading reviews and I am concerned about sway with the Saris model that is made for more than 1 size receiver. Where as the Hollywood receiver is for 2inch only. Also in the future we may be purchasing e-bikes. I know the Hollywood rack is much heavier but at 72 years old I still should be able to handle the extra weight. Your staff has been excellent in helping me in the past and I appreciate your expertise and knowledge regarding your products, and your timely response. Thank You In Advance for any help you can give me in making the right choice

I looked up several pictures of Hybrid Giant bikes like you have and the ones with lower water bottle locations would interfere with the frame clamps of the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack # SA4412B most likely so the Saris platform bike rack I would recommend instead is the SuperClamp EX 2 part # SA4025F which grabs the bikes by the tires instead which would definitely not interfere with the water bottle holder and also would prevent the rack from touching your frame which would protect the finish of it better!
I attached a review video for this rack for you to check out as well.
