Best Hitch For Bike Rack And Cargo Carrier On 2020 Honda Odyssey
Question:
Will be doing some travel soon to see family out of town. We will need a cargo carrier but also thinking about a bike rack for when it warms up. Figured a hitch might be the best way to carry both? We have a 2020 Honda Odyssey and will be transporting 4 bikes. Something simple but sturdy is what we're looking for.

Using a hitch is a great option for either a bike rack or cargo carrier for sure. I recommend the etrailer hitch receiver # e98855 as a sturdy choice. It comes in a matte black finish that blends in nicely with the rear undercarriage of your 2020 Honda Odyssey. Per the owners manual the overall vehicle weight limit is 1,340lbs accounting for all passengers and cargo weight and the hitch is approved for up to 525lbs of tongue weight, sturdy enough to do the job.
I recommend the 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18152 with an attractive, modern design that will look great on your Odyssey and provide the additional cargo space you need.
Finally for the bike rack, the Thule # TH934XTR 4-bike platform rack will accommodate a wide variety of bike sizes and designs, is simple and light weight so it is easy to install and load bikes.
