Bumper Mounted Bike Rack to Clear Spare Tire on 2019 Rockwood Roo Travel Trailer
Question:
I still need to know how long the bar is to be able to determine if moving the spare tire is an option. We can't move it to far or it will block the tail light. Can someone tell me how long the rack is?

The distance from center of hitch pin hole to edge of first upright arm on the # S64663 is 10-1/2 inches. However, the distance to first wheel hoop is only 8 inches. You may still be able to use this rack as long as you can slide your spare tire to either side (Fig 1), this is what most of our customers actually do and it's worked very well.
The Swagman # S64663 is designed to be used on continuously welded, 4 - 4-1/2 inch tall, steel RV bumpers.
If relocating the spare tire along the bumper is not an option, an excellent choice to consider is the Swagman Around the Spare Deluxe 2 Bike Rack for RV Bumpers # S80501. This hanging style rack attaches to the same style bumper as the S64663 but it's specifically designed to fit around the spare tire. It has a spare tire clearance of 12-3/4 inches so it will easily work with yours. Access to your spare tire can be gained by simply removing 2 pins, which remove the top half of the rack (Fig 2). Check out the review video I've attached for you at the bottom of the page.
A bike adapter bar # 64005 may be needed for alternative bike frames typically seen in women's and children's bikes that don't have a horizontal bar to allow the bike to be towed level.
