Availability of Crossbar System for 2018 Honda Ridgeline Bed

Question:

I am planning to install a track system like the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Item # Y02-500B or Yakima HardTop SL Roof Rack Item # Y01618 so I can mount an adjustable crossbars to my truck bed. Is there a way to add a sliding ladder system to it like The Thule TracRac track system. Or instead can I mount a crossbar directly to the TracRac for overland applications? thanks

The Rhino-Rack Track Mount Roof Rack # Y02-490B that you referenced is a great option for adding rails and a crossbar system to the bed of your 2018 Honda Ridgeline. The RTC-style tracks though won't be able to accommodate the vertical uprights for sliding ladder racks, including the Thule TracRac systems you mentioned. This will be the case with any similar track system such as the Yakima model you were also looking at.

At this time we don't have a ladder rack available for your 2018 Honda Ridgeline. Your only option for securing cargo higher up over the roof will be with a standard roof rack system. If you can let me know if your Ridgeline has raised side rails or if it's completely bare I will be happy to make a specific recommendation.
