Recommended 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Towing Hitch for 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 with GM Factory Pucks
Question:
Just bought a 2020 Silverado 2500 with the factory towing pucks. What 5th wheel hitch do you recommend for this and for gooseneck towing?

For 5th wheel and gooseneck towing with your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 I highly recommend going with all things B&W because they make quality towing equipment made here in the USA and backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
The 5th wheel hitch that B&W offers for your OEM puck system is the Companion which is available in a 20K sliding version part # BWRVK3775 if you have a short bed as well as 20K # BWRVK3710 and 25K # BWRVK3715 versions if you have a long bed. The Companion uses 1" thick dual jaws and a fully articulating head cushioned by polyurethane bushings to give you one of the most comfortable towing experiences on the market. This 5th wheel hitch uses a cam-action latching handle to make uncoupling much easier when you have to park your 5th wheel trailer on uneven ground.
Then for a gooseneck trailer you need the B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit # BWGNXA2061. I really like the handle design for the hitch ball because it means the latching system is out of the way and won't get damaged by the gooseneck coupler plus it doubles as a carrying handle when you remove it.
I have attached some review videos that you can check out to see these parts in action.
