Where to Check for Propane Leaks
Question:
I am renovating a 30 foot RV into a home. The propane co. hooked up the tank to the RV. Where should I look for the leak at?

To check for RV propane leaks you are going to want to check at the propane hose first (or hoses depending on your system) as well as the regulator. If it is not obvious those are the issue and where the leak is at, I highly recommend contacting the company that hooked up your propane, and in fact it would be a very good idea to do so anyway to make sure the rest of your set up is proper.
I also strongly recommend installing the Atwood RV Carbon Monoxide and Propane Gas Detector # AT36681 in your renovation to help ensure your safety.
I have added a link to an installation video of this detector, as well as a link to a help article on propane systems and our entire selection of propane parts.
