Comparing Hole Spacing On Weight Distribution Shanks from Curt C17122 and Equalizer EQ90-02-4600

Question:

Hello, I need an extended shank for my towing application. Generally speaking, is the hole spacing on the shank where the head bolts through the same between different manufactures or not? Is it the same between these two shanks Ive listed or not? Thanks

The hole spacing on weight distribution shanks is going to be a standard 1-1/4" apart center on center to allow compatibility between manufacturers. I've attached pictures of the Equal-i-zer # EQ90-02-4600 (first picture) and the Curt # C17122 (2nd) to show you the differences between the two outside of the hole spacing for the ball mount.

I've also linked our entire selection of weight distribution shanks for 2" hitch receivers for you to look at. If you can let me know what specific length you're looking for, I can help find one that suits your application.
