Lock Sticking on Thule T2 Pro
Question:
I cant seem to unlock and remove the bike rack from my hitch - the key is not turning?

If your key on your Thule T2 Pro # TH83JV is not turning I recommend that you works some lubricant like the LubriMatic White Lithium Grease # L11354 into the lock. This works to penetrate through any corrosion and loosen the locking mechanism and allow you to get the key to turn. I particularly like this product more than something like WD-40 because it's biobased, so it's non-toxic and safe to use around the house.
If you continue to have issues with the lock core, it might be time to switch them out for a new one like the Replacement Lock Cylinder # THLOCKN070 which is designed for keys with the N070 code on the front (or on your key). You will need to have the lock in the unlocked position and use the Universal Change Key for Thule Locks # 853-1251 in order to remove it so if you can't get it removed, you'll either have to drill it out or have a locksmith remove it.
If you have a different key/lock combo and can provide me with the N code on those parts I can find you the appropriate replacement lock core.
