Parts Needed to Flat Tow 2019 Ford Fusion
Question:
Do I need a battery cut off switch for my 219 Ford Fusion?
asked by: Joe K
Expert Reply:
You do not, but you do need a number of other parts to flat tow your 2019 Ford Fusion, and for a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components I have a list of parts needed to do so listed below:
Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - # BLU44FR (Energi Hybrid or Hybrid)
Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - # BX2666 (Sport)
Demco Commander II Tow Bar - # DM9511012-BX
Tow Bar Combo Kit - # DM9523057
Air Force One System - # SM99243 (Air Brakes on Motorhome)
Stay-IN-Play DUO System - # SM99251 (Hydraulic Brakes on Motorhome)
Relay Kit - # RM-88400
