Pro Series Weight Distribution System for Trailer Tongue Weight up to 1,200 lbs
Question:
I currently have a PS49903 hitch 10,000 lb gross trailer weight and 1,000 lb tongue weight. I just purchased a 2019 Coachmen Freedom express 276 with a gross trailer weight of 7600 lbs, and a empty tongue weight of 796 lbs. Can I purchase bars and hitch ball to upgrade this hitch? I also purchased a 2020 Chevy 2500 HD which sits several inches taller than my old truck. So I also need to purchase a hitch bar with more . any suggestions?

The Pro Series weight distribution system part # RP66559 that you have is the highest rated system in this series of system from Pro Series so you'd need an entirely new kit to get a higher rated setup.
Reese has their system part # RP66542 which has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200lbs and is priced really great. You can reuse the friction sway control you have currently as well.
For a shank with more drop to help compensate for the additional height you have you'd want the part # C17123 which fits the Pro Series kit and will work great.
