Is the 10 AWG Wire on the Mighty Cord Replacement Hardwire RV Power Cord Enough for 50 Amps
Question:
If this cable is designed to distribute two separate 50 amp/125 volt services from the Park power pedestal to the motor home, then why is the wire gauge listed as 10 amperes? This suggests this cable is capable to distribute only two 30 amp/125 volt services. As I understand it, if the Park power pedestal is wired correctly, two 50 amp/125 volt services are available through its 50 amp receptacle. Each service is protected by a 50 amp circuit breaker. To accommodate this service, the wire gauge should be AWG6 for both hot red and black an neutral white.

The Mighty Cord Replacement Hardwire RV Power Cord part # A10-5025END is only capable of handling one service so I am not really sure what you mean by separating these out. The wire gauge which is 10 AWG is then sufficient for the singular 50 amp service the power cord is designed to be used with.
