Recommendation for Adding Crossbar System to Leer 750 Sport Fiberglass Tonneau Cover
Question:
I have a 2016 Ford F150 with a Leer 750 Sport fiberglass tonneau cover. Is there a crossbar system that can go atop of the cover? I would assume there may have to be some retro-fitting done to make it work.

The best solution we have available to add a crossbar system to the Leer 750 Sport fiberglass tonneau cover on your Ford F-150 is with a rail system like the excellent Rhino-Rack # Y02-490B. The included 63" tracks will mount to the tonneau itself (drilling into the cover will be required) and will provide you with the mounting points for the (also included) Quick Mount Legs and 59" long crossbars.
This will give you a durable rack with a 220 pound weight capacity and the tracks allow for adjustability, as you can slide the crossbars along the length of the bed to accommodate for different sized loads.
Since the Leer 750 Sport hangs over the bed side rails of your F-150, any crossbars system is going to require drilling into the cover. I have attached the written manual below along with an installation video just so you can see exactly how everything works.

Is there a similar system that would attach to the same Leer 750 Sport fiberglass tonneau cover but would be high enough to hold a standard canoe and also clear the F150 roof?
