Will the Jensen AWM 968 Stereo Replace The Jensen AWM 970 Stereo

is the Jensen awm 968 a compatable replacement for the awm 970?

I researched this and contacted the manufacturer who did confirm that the # AWM968 is a compatible replacement for the # AWM970. While both of those models are discontinued, the Jensen RV Stereo # JWM60A will replace the Jensen Stereo AWM68 also. According to Jensen the only real difference between the two stereos is the wiring and the JWM60A does not play audio from Blu-ray discs.
While the wiring harness is not the same because the JWM60A has more wires for new features, both stereos use the same 9" wide x 6" tall cut out for installation. The old wiring harness needs to be cut off and the new wiring harness wired in.
