Can B&W Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch that Fits GM OEM Rail Work with FlexAir Pin Box
Question:
Have a Curt Q25 hitch and a Flex air kingpin. Less than 7k miles and the rubber bushings are ruined. Metal hitting metal. Called Curt and they told me that you cant put a rubber bushing hitch with a rubber bushing kingpin. Apparently they should put it on their website. Anyway, will this hitch work with my Flex Air kingpin?

The B and W Companion for OEM GM towing packages # BWRVK3700 will work great with the FlexAir pin box of your trailer. Between your FlexAir cushioned pin box and this hitch you'll have the smoothest and best towing setup around as they are both widely considered to be the best choices. The hitch is made in the USA and has a really thick jaw system that holds the king pin of the trailer very tightly which gives you a very quiet and smooth ride.
This hitch also directly fits the OEM rail kit you have in the bed of your 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 as well. I attached a review video for more info as well.
The Curt Q hitches are not my favorite hitches for reasons like what you have found. They really weren't super long-lasting and were limited in what types of pin boxes they could be used with. This is why they redesigned the series of hitches as the A-Series to be much more reliable and able to fit more applications. Even between an A-Series and the Companion I'd still easily pick the Companion as the best choice mainly because the jaw system of the Companion is basically unbeatable.
