Comparing The Curt C13410 and the EcoHitch 306-X7601 For A 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
I have a 2019 Subaru Outback wagon. I am torn between the Curt C13410 and the Ecohitch 306-X7601. Only towing about 1500 lbs total but I need good construction. is the eco hitch worth the extra money

I recommend the Curt Class III Receiver Hitch for the 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon part # C13410 which is going to give you about 500 lbs more towing capacity then the other hitch options. The EcoHitch part # 306-X7601 is a nice alloy construction so it does resist rusting however, the Curt is powder coated to prevent corrosion as well.
Both of the installations require fascia trimming and do not require drilling so they are the same in that aspect. They are both concealed cross tube designs so the only portion of the hitch that is visible once installed is the receiver. The Curt is also made in the USA. Really the only difference is the EcoHitch is alloy and the Curt is steel but the Curt has more weight capacity so it is stronger.
