Can You Install a 5th Wheel Rail Kit on a Cab and Chassis Pick-Up
Question:
looking to install rails on a 2001 F550 cab and Chassis dually with standard pickup bed. Can you please send a PDF instructions for installing the kit. Thank you

I do have an option for you but there are not going to be any specific installation instructions on a cab and chassis model. The installation instructions for a set of 5th wheel base rails will also be specific to that particular kit you are using. I recommend the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit part # RP30035 as this will be your best option if you able to make one work but installation will be entirely up to you. I have however attached a copy of the installation instructions for this kit though there is nothing specific to the cab and chassis model.
I wish I had better news for you but none of the aftermarket 5th wheel install kit manufactures offer options for cab and chassis models which is why you need to use a universal kit and modify it to make due.
