The Pro Series Gooseneck Coupler, part # PS0287800300, that you have referenced is just a gooseneck coupler that would connect a gooseneck trailer to a gooseneck hitch in your vehicle. It is not the same as a fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter.

To tow a fifth wheel RV with your gooseneck hitch you will need to use a fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter that will bolt onto to your fifth wheel RV trailer and allow you to connect to the gooseneck ball in your truck bed. We have a selection of adapters that will range from weight capacities of 16,000 lbs to 30,000 lbs, and some will have adjustable heights that might be needed for clearance on your application. I am including a link to a product page that will list the fifth wheel to gooseneck adapters I have available.

The ride quality of using a fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter usually is a bit worse than towing a gooseneck trailer with the same trailer weight and tongue weight. Usually fifth-wheel trailers will tow better and ride better with a fifth-wheel hitch due to the pin box configuration and fifth wheel hitch design. If you are not towing the fifth wheel that often and/or need to tow both with the same truck then the fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter is a safe, viable option.

Depending on which type of gooseneck hitch you have in your vehicle another option you might have is to use the Draw-Tite Hi-Rise Hitch Adapter, part # 9480. This adapter will fit into some Draw-Tite, Bulldog, and B and W gooseneck hitches and allow you to tow a fifth wheel.

If you can give me the year, make, and model of truck you will be using to tow your fifth wheel RV, and the size of the fifth wheel you will be towing, I can help you determine the correct adapter you will need.
