install base plate on 2006 honda acord

The Roadmaster base plate kit # 1545-1 comes with full installation instructions. I will send you a .pdf copy in a separate email.
According to my research, the 2006 is capable of being flat towed, unless it is a hybrid model with the CVT transmission. Read and follow the guidelines listed in the emergency towing section of your owners manual.
In addition to the base plates, you will need a tow bar, safety cables, wiring and in many states and Canadian provinces, a supplemental braking system.
The Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar, RM-520 would be a great choice for you. The Falcon 2 allows the flat-towed vehicle to self-center behind the RV, allowing for quicker and easier hook ups. The RM-643 safety cables would work well for you.
The tail light isolating diode kit, # 38955 would be your best bet for wiring the vehicle, and the Roadmaster Even Brake system, # RM-9400 is an easy to install and use option for ensuring that the towed vehicle brakes in tandem with the tow vehicle.
I will link you to several FAQ articles that will help explain the various wiring and braking options for you in more detail.
