Fuel Consumption of Firman 10,000-Watt Portable Generator # 333-H08051 on Gas and Propane
Question:
I am unsure of how to phrase my question so please bear with me. I am wondering how much fuel this generator consumes on idle and on load using propane versus gas. How many gallons using propane and how many gallons using gas per time unit per hour, I would assume? I am looking for a viable and cost effective option to provide power to our RV for full-time living until we are done building our home.

We've checked with Firman recently about the fuel consumption of the generator part # 333-H08051 and they informed us that propane run time at 50% load is 4-6 hours on a 5 LB tank. On Gasoline the run time at 50% load can be up to 12 hours on an 8 gallon fuel tank. Using a 50 percent load is going to be the best way to get a relative amount of time since that's typically what a generator is providing.
