Towing Capacity of 2012 GMC Terrain with Convert-A-Ball AMSC2 Ball Mount

Im moving from fl to nj and wanted to load my car with a few things. How much car weight should I limit it to?

I'm not certain what you mean by 'car weight'. The Convert-A-Ball # AMSC2 ball mount has a 10,000 lb towing (maximum amount trailer and its contents can safely weigh) and a 2,000 lb tongue weight (maximum amount of downward force trailer can apply to ball mount) capacity.
If you were asking about how much your Terrain can tow, it'll tow 1500 lbs with the 2.4 engine or 3500 lbs with the 3.0 V6 engine.
