Which Length Crossbars for Carrying Bikes, Kayaks and a Cargo Box on 2019 Mercedes Benz GLC 300  

Question:

Hi, I have a Mercedes GLC 300, a 2019, with flush rails. I was thinking of getting a Yakima Jetstream kit but Im not sure what fits on a 50inch crossbar. Very specifically I need to carry 2 bikes and one Kayak. Sometimes, Two bikes and one cargo bin. Possibly one kayak and one cargo bin. How do I determine if 50inch will be enough?

You could certainly mount two bikes using racks like the # Y02103 FrontLoader and a kayak using a carrier like the # Y04073 JayLow or two bikes with a cargo box like the # Y07192 RocketBox Pro as well as a cargo box and a kayak on a 50 inch crossbar. I've confirmed the fit with Yakima.

The JetStream 50 inch crossbars, part # Y00425
RidgeLine roof rack towers, part # Y00145
Vehicle specific RidgeClip kit, part # Y06022
