Roof Mounted Cargo Box and Roof Rack Crossbars for 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan

Will the Thule fit a 2012 VW Tiguan? The Tiguan has side rails but no cross bars. What cross bars do I need to purchase? Thank you.

Once the Tiguan is equipped with crossbars, the Thule Sidekick Roof-Mounted Cargo Box you referenced, part # TH78GC will fit your 2012 VW Tiguan.
A good quality roof rack that's a standard square shaped crossbar and fits the majority of roof accessories is the Thule SquareBars, part # TH712200.
If you prefer an upgraded crossbar that reduces wind noise and drag you can go with the Thule WingBars, part # TH711200 in silver or # TH711220 in black.
Both bar styles use the same Evo raised rail feet, part # TH710401, to mount to your rails.
