How To Carry Both a Hobie Mirage Outback and a Hobie Compass Kayak

I have two hobie kayaks, an outback and a compass and would like to transport both kayaks on the top of my ford explorer. They are both heavy kayaks. Which carrier would you recommend?

I have a great option for you to carry both a Hobie Mirage Outback Kayak and a Hobie Compass Kayak. In order to do so you will need to use a j-style carrier for the Compass and a saddle style carrier for the Mirage Outback. The reason for this is because you will not have enough space to carry both hull down and the Mirage Outback is too heavy to carry on the side.

I recommend the Malone DownLoader Kayak Carrier part # MPG114MD for the Compass and the Malone MegaWing Sit-On-Top Kayak Carrier part # MPG207 for the Mirage Outback. If you need help loading, the Telos XL Load Assist for Malone J-Style Kayak Carriers part # MPG351XL can be used with the Malone DownLoader but I don't have anything for the Malone MegaWing.
