Compatibility of Firestone Air Suspension with In-Bed Hitch on 2015 Toyota Tundra

Question:

I plan to get a bandw gooseneck hitch installed on my 2015 Tundra trd crewmax 4x4 and would like to make sure these air bags will not have any mounting issues with the hitch. Are you able to validate? Thank you.

Unfortunately, the Firestone # F2445 wouldn't be compatible for use with a Gooseneck hitch installed in your 2015 Tundra. The problem is that the mounting brackets for the hitch would interfere with where the air bag mounts need to attach.

A jounce stop replacement like the Timbren # TTORTUN4 would be a good choice, however. The nice thing about the Timbren system is that your ride quality will not change unless you're carrying a load in the truck bed or towing something. No leaks to be concerned about, no need to find a gas station with a working compressor. The Timbrens are also a less expensive alternative than an airbag system and the installation is very simple.
