Material of Lug Nut Clips on Phoenix USA QuickTrim Hub Cover # QT655C

In your description, you state: QT655CHN Phoenix USA Quick Trim Hub Cover - 6 on 5-1/2 Inch Bolt Circle - Chrome - Qty 1 Replaces QT655C and PXQT655CHNB What changes were made by this? Also, are there metal clips that snap around the lug nuts or are they plastic? I am just concerned about plastic breaking taking them on or off.

The various part numbers you see at the bottom of the product page for the Phoenix USA QuickTrim Hub Cover # QT655C simply refer to alternate part numbers that the manufacturer uses. There isn't an actual difference between the parts.

The Hub Cover features a durable ABS plastic construction throughout, and this includes the small clips on the backside that help to snap it over the lug nuts. While this isn't metal I can assure you that they provide a really strong grip and we haven't heard any customer feedback with regards to them breaking off.
