Replacement Steps for Seasonal 5th Wheel with Door 38 Off Ground

Question:

Entry into my seasonal 5th wheel is 38inch off the ground which makes the last step of 10inch too high. Is there another model with an additional step or do you have another solution?

I have a solution for you, but as far as porch style trailer steps go, the Econo Porch Trailer Step with Handrail # EHS-103-R is going to be the tallest step we have available.

I recommend going with the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution # TLA9005 . These steps can be used for entries 34-7/8" to 42-3/8" and the steps have a rise/drop of 7-1/2" which is going to keep you from having to step up too high/too far down at any point. They easily pull out from the trailer and the scissor design allows them to collapse easily for storage when traveling. I especially like the glow tape on the steps that creates lighted step surface for safely climbing into and out of your camper at night.

The other, possibly less practical solution would be to use the FasTen RV Leveling Blocks # CAM44512 , which are 1" tall, under the legs of the stairs and at the bottom of your stairs to help eliminate any uncomfortable step height/drop. This is going to be the most cost effective solution, but it may not be the most stable platform for the Econo Porch # EHS-103-R stairs.
