Recommended Trailer Hitch and Ball Mount for a 2019 Toyota RAV4
Question:
I am planning to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch - C13416 or the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch - DT82QR on my 2019 Rav4 Hybrid and would like to know what should be the appropriate ball mount for the right final height. Could you please advise if should be a raise and strait ball mount?

I would love to recommend the exact ball mount you will need but this can be tricky as this has a lot to do with the particular trailer you will be towing. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13416 and Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver part # DT82QR which are both fits for your 2019 Toyota RAV4 have the same hitch height so this won't be too much of a factor. I do however recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver as there is less bulk near the receiver tube and they tend to have a better fit than the Draw-Tite hitches.
If you will be towing multiple trailers or even if you will be just towing one trailer, I really think your best option is an adjustable ball mount. The Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount part # D900 would have you covered for a wide range of trailers and it has every hitch ball you would need as well. This ball mount would be used in the rise position most likely.
If you don't already have a trailer wiring harness to complete your towing setup you can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56434 which is plug and play.
