Will SportRack Vista XL Roof Cargo Box # SR7018 Fit on 2004 Volvo XC90

Im in the need for a hard-shelled rooftop carrier for my 2004 Volvo XC90. Will the SportRack SR7018 Vista XL Rooftop Cargo Carrier work for me?

The SportRack Vista XL Roof Cargo Box, part # SR7018, that you have referenced, will fit on Thule square cross bars, Yakima round cross bars, and most factory cross bars.

If you have factory cross bars on your 2004 Volvo XC90 that run from side to side, you will need to check that the diameter of the cross bars are less than 4 inches in diameter, and that the spread between the cross bars can be 25-7/8", 27-7/8", or 29-7/8", for the cargo box to fit.

If you just have side rails on your roof that run from front to back, you will need to install the Thule Evo raised rail feet, part # TH710401, with the Thule SquareBars, part # TH712400, to get cross bars on the roof of your vehicle.

With the Thule parts installed on your roof you will then be able to attach the SportRack cargo box to your roof.
