Can Firestone Ride Rite Kit Replace Vehicle's Suspension

Can the helper springs replace shockes or so you still have to run shocks

Our suspension enhancement kits like the Firestone Ride Rite part # F2071 require the vehicle to have fully functional suspension. The shocks and factory springs need to be in place. These kits are designed to provide more support to the factory suspension but they cannot replace it.
