If your 2007 Kia Sportage is the I4 2.0L Front Wheel Drive Manual Transmission model, then you will be able to flat tow the vehicle. If your vehicle is 4wd or all wheel drive, it will not be able to be flat towed. In order to flat tow a vehicle with an RV, you're going to need parts from a couple different categories: Base Plates, Tow Bars, Safety Chains, Wiring/Lights and a Supplemental Braking System. Below I've created a list of recommendations that will fit your vehicle:

1) Base Plates: Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 1621-1 (these are vehicle specific and provide a "hidden" style design that allow for the visible hookups to be removed when not towing

2) Tow Bar: Roadmaster Falcon 2 # RM-520 This tow bar provides telescoping arms that automatically lock into place and large hookup radius allows you to connect without perfectly lining up your vehicle.

3) Safety Chains: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000 lbs # RM-643

4) Wiring Kit/Lights: Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 will allow your lights to function in conjunction with the RV lights (i.e.- brake lights, turn signals, etc.)

5) Supplemental Braking: Roadmaster 9400 Portable Supplemental Braking # RM-9400 is a Pre-Set system that provides a set amount of braking power. One of the great things about using a portable system is that it allows you to move the system from one dinghy to another if you ever decide to switch vehicles (requires seat adapter to work in Kia Sportage # RM-88114 )

You also will likely need a high/low adapter for this vehicle. Along with an article on flat towing, I have linked an article on how to choose a high/low adapter similar to # RM-076 depending on the rise/drop you require. This is a lot of information, so let me know if you have any other questions.
