If I drive a class a Winnebago vista, will the stay and go work? I don’t know if it has hydraulic brakes.

The easiest way to determine whether a Class A motorhome has air or hydraulic brakes is by whether the motorhome runs on diesel or gas. For the most part, diesel Class A's have air brakes. From my research the Vista has a gas engine and therefore has hydraulic brakes. The SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251 is an excellent choice because once installed you can drive the towed vehicle without the need to remove the braking system as is the case with the portable systems like the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. One of the many advantages of the Stay-IN-Play DUO is that it is in fact compatible with all four types of brakes commonly found on Class A motorhomes (hydraulic, electric over hydraulic, air over hydraulic and air).
If you discover that your Winnebago Vista is equipped with straight air brakes the SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # SM99243 is hands down the best choice as it's specifically designed to only work with air brakes and does not work with the other three types of brakes mentioned earlier.
