Can the Power Hatch Feature On the Key Fob Be Used On a 2019 Honda CR-V with Curt Hitch C13397

I have a 2019 Honda CR-V with a power-trunk door. Assuming I dont press the trunk release button on the remote, is it okay to install this hitch for use with a bike rack. Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4 Item # 36597

The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 36597 is a fit for your 2019 Honda CR-V. I think you are referring to the Hands-Free Liftgate feature and if that is the case then the only issue with this is the hitch body blocking the sensors under your bumper which then does not allow you to use your foot to activate the lift gate without pressing a button. That said, Honda has a sensor relocation kit you can obtain if you want to make the sensors functional again or you can use the button on your remote.

If you don't already have a bike rack, I really like the Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Platform Rack part # KU74FR because it is lightweight therefore easy to lift and has an open design therefore easy to load.
