Trailer Hitch and Hitch Mounted Bike Rack for a 2005 Toyota Camry

Question:

I currently have a roof rack on and looking to switch to rear carrier. My freind just purchased a NV2 and is very happy. Is there an application for a receiver hitch for a 2005 Toyota Camry 4 dr sedan? Thanks for help in this matter.

We do have a trailer hitch for your vehicle and that is compatible with the Rola 2 Bike Carrier, part # NV2. I would recommend the Draw-Tite Class II Trailer Hitch, part # 36336, because it is our most economical hitch available for your car and is easy to install. This hitch has a 1-1/4 inch receiver which will work with the 1-1/4 inch shank on the NV2 Rola Bike Carrier.

The Draw-Tite hitch has a tongue weight, TW, capacity of 300 lbs and a gross towing weight, GTW, of 3500 lbs. You will want to check your owners manual and verify the TW and GTW capacity of your vehicle and make sure you never exceed the ratings of your vehicle or trailer hitch.
