Okay to Use Ratchet Straps to Secure Cargo on Yakima LoadWarrior
Question:
Hi there. Just would like to ask if it’s safe to use tie down ratchet straps on this roof carrier? Thanks!

You could indeed use ratchet straps to secure the cargo to the # Y07070 tray, but you'll want to show a little restraint when ratcheting down the straps. Tight is good, but I've seen folks actually bend their racks by tightening the straps too much. Once you get them good and snug, go no further. During your travels, be sure to stop occasionally to check that everything is still secure.
We have a huge array of ratchet straps available, you can see what we have available by using the provided link.
