The Everchill 12V Refrigerator # 324-000119 has a sound output of about 34 to 42 decibels. It's hard to provide a specific comparison to standard 120V or gas units as it's going to be dependent on the particular model/size but by comparison the average household (120V) refrigerator typically is around 50 decibels when running. A whisper is usually 20 to 30 decibels.
