Will Brake Buddy Select Braking System Fit 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
Question:
I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler 2-Door Rubicon w/ Manual Transmission. Your site is recommending the Brake Buddy Classic 3 confirmed fit vs the Brake Buddy 3. Can you explain why? They both seem to have the same dimensions.

There's no reason the Brake Buddy Select part # HM39524 wouldn't work in your 2006 Jeep Wrangler. It just hasn't been added to our fitguide at this time. This is a proportional braking system that senses how hard you apply the vehicle brakes and applies them in a proportional amount on the tow vehicle. The advantage the Select model has over the Classic is that it can also give you a "full brake" setup which applies full braking power all the time when brakes are applied. This is particularly helpful in mountain areas where the incline changes might make the sensor not quite as accurate.
