Troubleshooting Jack Blowing Fuse
Question:
Power jack suddenly stopped. S It seems like there is no power getting to the jack. The battery is good. I replaced an inline fuse the jack light came on but when I hit the jack button it would not work and the light would not come on again, it seem to be blowing the fuse. Any suggestions Thank you

I do have suggestions because with a fuse blowing on your jack it sounds like you are dealing with a short somewhere in the circuit causing the fuse to blow; to verify this, connect power to your jack terminal to see if the motor runs. If it does run when the battery is connected directly that means you have a short so you will need to take a look at the wiring. Look for crimped, broken or otherwise damaged wires which may be causing the short to occur.
