Can An Ice Maker Be Added to the Furrion RV 4-Door Refrigerator

Question:

Can the Furrion RV Refrigerators - FCR14ACBQASS be fit with an ice maker? What is the cold cranking amp draw? Do you know of a 14 CF electric frig to replace a Norcold 1200 that has an ice maker? The wife says that is a must.

I do have an option for you but none of our refrigerators come with an ice maker nor can one be fitted to them. The best option for this purpose would be to purchase an ice maker separately like one that sits on your counter top or to go the old fashioned route of ice cube trays, part # CAM44100.

In regards to the Furrion RV Refrigerator part # FCR14ACBQASS, this unit will draw around 1.5 amps running and 5-7 amps starting. I am not sure what you mean by cold cranking amps (CCA's) as this is generally used to describe car batteries but if you can clarify what you mean by this I would be glad to explain further. The above will do a fine job of replacing your old Norcold 1200 Model but I was not able to find any RV refrigerators with built-in ice maker.
