Using Hollywood Racks Trail Rider 2 Bike Platform Rack with Day 6 Semi-Recumbent Bike

will the racks clamp go down far enough to hold on to a Day 6 bike semi recumbent bike ?

The Hollywood Racks Trail Rider 2 Bike Platform Rack # HR200Z will work with your Day 6 model semi-recumbent bike but you will need to add an adapter bar like the Kuat # UB01. This will attach to the bike's seat post and handlebar stem post to provide a horizontal connection point for the hooks on the Trail Rider.
The step-thru frames on the Day 6 are a bit too pronounced for the mounting hooks on this rack to attach without the use of the adapter. I have attached a short video demonstration on the adapter bar just so you can see exactly how it works.
