The Two Ways that Trailer 7-Way Wiring Colors are Used

Your diagrams are not consitant with standard trailer wiring codes. Yellow is left turn/stop Green is right turn/stop Brown is running lights Blue is elec brakes White is ground Why the difference?

This is a really good question! So it turns out there are two ways that 7-way wire colors are ran. The one like what you described is considered 7-way traditional whereas the other style is considered RV standard. I attached a diagram that hopefully better explains the difference.
